Closing up shop
I will probably not be posting to this blog any more. It is too much work keeping up with two blogs! If you would like to, please come visit me at my Homeschool Blogger Blog. I won't close this site because I like getting the subscriptions I get from some of you. But, you probably won't see me around here. You can find me at Homeschool Blogger or in the Homeschool Lounge.

Tackle it Tuesday

For today's Tackle it Tuesday, I decided to organize our photo albums. When we moved into this house in June, I didn't know where to put them, so I ended up just stacking books on top of the old wardrobe we use as our craft cabinet. I wanted the books to be better organized and more easily accessible to the kids who love to look at them.
I also went through some cards and such and put them into the correct child's memory box. I don't have memory boxes for Ashlyne and Rachel yet or even a baby book for Rachel
, but I am working on it.
Here is where the albums were:

Here is where they are now:

And proof that the wardrobe is clean:

Happy Birthday, Ashlyne!
Tomorrow, Ashlyne will officially turn 4! We celebrated her birthday tonight with family and friends at the church gym We had planned to have her party at the park originally, but it was cold and rainy today, so we moved the party to the gym.
She had a Winnie the Pooh theme. We had pizza, cake, and ice cream, and the kids played for hours in the gym - just so happy to be together!
I will post some pictures of the big affair tomorrow. I think we are ready to crawl into bed now.

Bragging on My Husband
Jason was on the Presidents list last semester! (He's back in school for Auto Mechanics.) Last night, they had the end of semester test for this class, and he scored the highest! Since the test was curved, he got 100!
Also, he was placed as the leader of this misfit group that had lots of goof offs and didn't get much done last semester, and the groups were competing to see who could earn the most *money* just like a real shop, and his team won!
I am so very proud of him, and he is so encouraged! He has worked so hard this last year, and it is very tiring for him to work 40+ hours a week and go to school 20+. This was a big encouragement to all of us.
